Reflecting my long time interest in Sculpted Forms the display beds feature a large collection of pleated, relief and cristate Sculpted Forms. The primary hybridizing focus is on relief, pleated and cristate Sculpted forms. A fascination with patterns has also created a selection of northern hardy patterns for introduction and hybridizing. Other important traits seedlings are evaluated for include distinctive northern hardy blooms with clear color, bud count, branching, clean blue-green foliage, early morning opening(EMO) and cold morning opening(CMO). The daylilies are grown organically in compost amended clay soil, watered and mulched by Mother Nature allowing me to evaluate and select the best performing seedlings without artificially enhancing performance. Visitors are welcome during bloom season, peak bloom is typically the third week of July. Early blooming cultivars and seedlings as well as the mid to late bloomers extend the season from early July through August. The hybridizing and selected seedling beds are always very exciting "must see" areas. A call or email to let me know you would like to visit is appreciated. Cultivars are true to name from a state inspected & licensed garden and shipped USPS Priority Mail. If you are not completely satisfied when you receive your plants please contact me. Shipping is $18.00 plus $1.00 for each additional plant. New introductions are limited, please be sure to notice SF (single fan) or DF (double fan) and shipping time if noted in the description.
